It is a strange experience for us to experience the beauty of the environment in such an adventurous way.

It gets its name from the fact that it's a lizard - like backbone, with a narrow peak. From here, it's a very steep, steep slope.

If you are going to see this, the easiest way for us is to go towards Peradeniya. You have to pass about 7km from Peradeniya and reach Sarasavigama.
It's another 4km from Sarasavigama to Upland.
After about 2km along the uphill road in front of the small temple and shop in Upland, you will come across a few small houses like the Laims.

Location

The only way to get to the top of this trail is to climb a steep hill. It is a very tiring journey when the sun is shining. Somehow, after completing this difficult journey and reaching the top of the mountain, the view disappears and all our fatigue is blown away. The wind heals the body.

From the top of the hill you can get a 360 view of Kandy city, peacocks hills, Kabaragala, Alagalla, knuckles mountain range, Hunnasgiriya. Also next to the lizard spine there is a small cave formed naturally on the top of the hill.

So this is the story of the lizard spine. If our friends who are looking for beautiful events in nature want to experience the beauty of adventure, here is a great place for it too.
